New App

Check out the coolest new app ever, Critter Alert. If your baby goes missing or if you find someone else's buddy we can all be connected to get everyone back home safe. We worked with all shelters nation wide, when an animal is found or is missing it is put on-line right away. The best part of this app is if in your area where you live and you see a baby critter by itself or missing you just post it and you can help it get home.

This app is free and when you have it on your phone it will alert you just like amber alert for children. So no matter where you are in the world you can help reconnect people and their critters one at a time. You can even pick your own critter sound to alert you. Try it out, it helps everyone and everything get home.

Customer Appreciation Day

Customer Appreciation Day April 18th at Becky's Breeds From 1 to 5. We will be hosting a disc golf tournament on our property, which allows you and your critter friend to join in the fun. Every parent that brings their kid gets a free bag of critter food and chances to win great prizes. Some of the prizes include a free year of grooming and a year of free gourmet food. We will also have a DJ and it is suppose to be sunny so free tans for all. We just want to thank you for helping us find a forever home one critter at a time.

 

We will also being having a surprise celebrity chef that will be grilling for us all day long. If you go to our twitter page you can guess who the chef is. If you guess right you get a private gourmet dinner for two and your pet served dinner by the famous chef. Can't wait to see everyone.

Trees are the best way to help promote oxygen for all of us.They also add protection and shelter to alot of our critter friends. At Becky's Breeds we are giving away trees to plant, so stop by our shop and grab one to make the world a greener place. If you are unable to stop by or Facebook us a selfie of you planting a tree and you can get a free bag of critter food.  This will be going on till April 24th.

 

Best way to deal with your critter poo, besides making them clean it up themselves. Use the unwanted mess and turn it in to compost for your garden. So everyone plant a tree so you buddy has somewhere to go and use the leftovers to make an awesome garden. Go Green Holler!

Greatest Niche Ever

Woke up early this morning to find Ice Cube throwing up and I was unable to get his doctor because he is in Mexico right now. Me, being a puppy parent and only trust certain people to help my little guy, I did what any parent would do and went to the internet. Wow, did I get myself freaked out! I met this nice lady on the site named Shirley who also has a bulldog and told me it is cold and flu season for our little guys. We laughed and shared stories about our dudes. I felt pretty cool because she had no idea about indoor toilettes for our boys. I also told her what Becky's Breeds does and we will be putting an event together in the future to help out critter pals. Gun Training For Dogs That Need Forever Homes

Becky's Breed and Locked And Load are joining together to give dogs in need of forever homes more skills so people will want to bring them home. We will be teaching dogs to get used to the sound of all types of guns. We will also be teaching hunter safety for both humans and critters.This is not only to teach animals how to hunt, be police dogs, or rescue dogs, it is also be available to help animals with fear of gun noise. CRAZEST DAY EVER

Becky's Breeds received a phone call yesterday from a realtor who was taking pictures inside of a vacant house she is trying to sell. To her surprise she turned the corner and this is what she saw.

This was a first for a call about an alligator in the middle of

house in the dead of winter in Wisconsin. Luckily we know

some people from Florida who know how to deal with this issue. Snappy the alligator and the realtor are both safe and Snappy is on his way back to a warm spot. Why do people think alligators make good pets?

CARSON PARK EVENT

Come one come all to watch the Virginia Crowns play a preseason game here in Eau Claire. The admission is $5 with half the proceeds going to the Humane Society and the other half going to Becky's Breeds.

Bring your critter pals to the game to watch the Crows show there stuff. Animal food donations will be accepted at the gate to help critter families in need in the area. After the game join for free people and animal food at Becky's Breeds where there will be a silent auction with the proceeds going towards research towards concussions and injuries suffered in high impact sports. We will be having a gourmet animal food chef cooking made to order meals for all of your critter friends. Come in and meet our personal trainer for you and four legged buddy to workout together. Frogger Insurance will also be here to let you know about your critter insurance options.  There is also a chance for you to sign up for critter food stamps, which is a new program that just started in Wisconsin. When you show up on Friday you will get a tour of the new facility that includes the indoor doggie bathrooms, the buddy training center and the cooking for your critter gourmet classes will also be offered in our new kitchen. Oh yeah, door prizes and drawings all day long. Ice Cube and I look forward to seeing you.

Becky's Breed's: Bringing Happiness One Critter at a Time

Many years ago I was watching T.V. and that heart wrenching commercial for the ASPCA came on with Sarah McLachlan singing in the background. I immediately wanted to change the channel but instead I started crying and pulled out my checkbook. After years of watching my checks do nothing for the area I live in I decided to put matters into my own hands, hence Becky's Breed Rescue was born.

The first rescue was the best experience of my life. Our company had just set up a hotline to call and on our first call it was the dead of winter. The caller informed us that there was a dog frozen on the side of the road. Luckily my partner and I were near by we got to the site with blankets and heating pads, clammed the dog down, and he was saved. He lives with us now and we call him Ice Cube. Just so you all know he hates the winter so we made a special indoor toilet for him to use during the winter.
